Cynthia Beene is a teaching artist based out of Fort Worth, TX.  She earned her associate's degree at Dallas College and continued her education at Texas A&M University-Commerce, earning both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Theater.  She enjoys staging new works in found spaces, and her recent credits include directing a devised play called To Pass the Legacy which was presented at the 2024 Fort Worth Fringe Festival.  Some of her favorite directing credits include Twelfth Night at Dallas College and a staged reading of Download or A Copy of a Rose at the 2022 First Impressions Festival with Imprint Theatreworks.  She has also been seen on stage recently as Gremio in The Taming of the Shrew with Bard in the Barn, and Mary in Tallgrass Gothic with Pizza Chapel Theatre Company.
